Here at Black Widow Horsefly Catcher we are a small Tennessee family owned business. Your helping put food on our table, pay bills, and all 8 horse’s hooves trimmed. The money from your purchase will not be wasted. We won’t be spending it on new vehicles or a fancy house.
We are a small family that is very appreciative of any and all sales. We cut/ rake/ tedder and bale our own hay. We have older model vehicles and older model equipment. Our tires blow out more than our birthday candles. We are just your average everyday family trying to make it day to day and week to week. We love our animals to the core and do everything we can for them before ourselves. Between now 8 horses, 3 dogs, and 2 cats we have a house full. (We have lost a few of our horse family: Sassy, Maggie, BQ and Bucky). It is still never easy losing a very loved member of the family.
We have owned horses for over 15 years and every year my horses have been tormented by horseflies. I have tried sprays, sheets or just keeping them inside during the peak times the horseflies are the worse.
The summer of 2014 through research, seeing what others were finding, led me in this direction. I made 5 different versions, changing something about them all and that’s where the Black Widow Horsefly Catcher was born. Each one had a different name, like the GodFather, but it was the Black Widow that caught the most on a daily tally.
My daughter and her family own 2 horses, MANY fainting goats, a barn cat and 2 dogs. Your purchase helps go towards allowing my daughter to stay home and homeschool their little one. Most parents don’t get that choice these days. Your purchase helps her little family with weekly and monthly bills that doesn’t seem to get smaller.
